Electric Literature of 13395-16-9, In homogeneous catalysis, catalysts are in the same phase as the reactants. Enzymes are biological catalysts that produce large increases in reaction rates and tend to be specific for certain reactants and products. In an article, authors is Chen, Cheng-Yi, once mentioned the application of Electric Literature of 13395-16-9, Name is Bis(acetylacetone)copper, is a conventional compound.

A facile, one-pot synthesis of 1H-indazoles featuring a Cu-catalyzed C?H ortho-hydroxylation and N?N bond-formation sequence with the use of pure oxygen as the terminal oxidant was developed. The reaction of readily available 2-arylaminobenzonitriles with various organometallic reagents led to ortho-arylamino N?H ketimine species. Subsequent Cu-catalyzed hydroxylation at the ortho position of the aromatic ring followed by N?N bond formation in DMSO under a pure-oxygen atmosphere afforded a wide variety of 1-(ortho-hydroxyaryl)-1H-indazoles in good to excellent yields. This efficient method does not require the utilization of noble-metal catalysts, elaborate directing groups, or privileged ligands.

Thin-film solar cells based on hybrid organo-halide lead perovskites achieve over 22% power conversion efficiency (PCE). A photovoltaic technology at such high performance is no longer limited by efficiency. Instead, lifetime and reliability become the decisive criteria for commercialization. This requires a standardized and scalable architecture which does fulfill all requirements for larger area solution processing. One of the most highly demanded technologies is a low temperature and printable conductive ink to substitute evaporated metal electrodes for the top contact. Importantly, that electrode technology must have higher environmental stability than, for instance, an evaporated silver (Ag) electrode. Herein, planar and entirely low-temperature-processed perovskite devices with a printed carbon top electrode are demonstrated. The carbon electrode shows superior photostability compared to reference devices with an evaporated Ag top electrode. As hole transport material, poly (3?hexyl thiophene) (P3HT) and copper(I) thiocyanate (CuSCN), two cost-effective and commercially available p-type semiconductors are identified to effectively replace the costlier 2,2?,7,7?-Tetrakis-(N,N-di-4-methoxyphenylamino)-9,9?-spirobifluorene (spiro-MeOTAD). While methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3)-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with an evaporated Ag electrode degrade within 100 h under simulated sunlight (AM 1.5), fully solution-processed PSCs with printed carbon electrodes preserve more than 80% of their initial PCE after 1000 h of constant illumination.

Synthetic Route of 1111-67-7, Chemistry is a science major with cience and engineering. The main research on the structure and performance of functional materials.Mentioned the application of 1111-67-7, Name is Cuprous thiocyanate.

Five copper(I) complexes having general formula [Cu2(mu-X) 2(kappa2-P,P-B-dppf)2] (X = Cl(1), Br(2), I(3), CN(4), and SCN(5)) were prepared starting with CuX and B-dppf in 1:1 molar ratio in DCM-MeOH (50:50 V/V) at room temperature. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR and electronic spectral studies. Molecular structures for 1, 2 and 4 were determined crystallographically. Complexes 1, 2 and 4 exist as centrosymmetric dimers in which the two copper atoms are bonded to two bridging B-dppf ligands and two bridging (pseudo-)halide groups in a mu-eta1 bonding mode to generate nearly planar Cu2(mu-eta1-X)2 framework. Both bridging B-dppf ligands are arranged in antiperiplanar staggered conformation in 1 and 2 (mean value 56.40-56.76), and twisted from the eclipsed conformation (mean value 78.19) in 4. The Phi angle value in 4 is relatively larger as compared to 1 and 2. This seems to indicate that the molecular core [Cu2(mu-eta1-X)2] in 4 is a sterically demanding system that forces the B-dppf ligand to adopt a relatively strained conformation in comparison to less strained system in 1 and 2. All the complexes exhibit moderately strong luminescence properties in the solution state at ambient temperature.

Fullerene-based materials are widely used as electron acceptors in organic bulk-heterojunction solar cells; yet, they have rarely been used as the only photoactive component due to their low absorbance and limited charge generation efficiency. However, blending the wide-bandgap p-type material copper (I) thiocyanate (CuSCN) with [6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester (PC70BM) leads to the formation of a unique mesostructured p-n like heterointerface between CuSCN and PC70BM and solar cells with a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of up to 5.4%. Here, we examine in detail the reasons for the surprisingly good device performance and elucidate the charge photogeneration and recombination mechanisms in CuSCN-based devices with PC70BM as the exclusive light-absorbing material. Our studies clearly demonstrate that a substantial fraction of the photocurrent in the CuSCN-based devices results from improved dissociation of fullerene excitons and efficient charge transfer at the CuSCN:PC70BM interface combined with reduced geminate and nongeminate charge recombination losses. Our results have implications beyond the fullerene-based devices studied here, as they demonstrate that careful selection of a mesostructured p-type transparent semiconductor paves the path to a new type of efficient single photoactive material solar cells.

Stabilizing a 3d-transition metal component M from an MPd alloy structure in an acidic environment is key to the enhancement of MPd catalysis for various reactions. Here we demonstrate a strategy to stabilize Cu in 5 nm CuPd nanoparticles (NPs) by coupling the CuPd NPs with perovskite-type WO2.72 nanorods (NRs). The CuPd NPs are prepared by controlled diffusion of Cu into Pd NPs, and the coupled CuPd/WO2.72 are synthesized by growing WO2.72 NRs in the presence of CuPd NPs. The CuPd/WO2.72 can stabilize Cu in 0.1 M HClO4 solution and, as a result, they show Cu, Pd composition dependent activity for the electrochemical oxidation of formic acid in 0.1 M HClO4 + 0.1 M HCOOH. Among three different CuPd/WO2.72 studied, the Cu48Pd52/WO2.72 is the most efficient catalyst, with its mass activity reaching 2086 mA/mgPd in a broad potential range of 0.40 to 0.80 V (vs RHE) and staying at this value after the 12 h chronoamperometry test at 0.40 V. The synthesis can be extended to obtain other MPd/WO2.72 (M = Fe, Co, Ni), making it possible to study MPd-WO2.72 interactions and MPd stabilization on enhancing MPd catalysis for various chemical reactions.
