In an article, authors is Ooi, Shota, once mentioned the application of Recommanded Product: 13395-16-9, Name is Bis(acetylacetone)copper, molecular formula is C10H16CuO4, is a conventional compound.

Copper complexes of corroles have recently been a subject of keen interest due to their ligand non-innocent character and unique redox properties. Here we investigated bis-copper complex of a triply-linked corrole dimer that serves as a pair of divalent metal ligands but can be reduced to a pair of trivalent metal ligands. Reaction of triply-linked corrole dimer 2 with Cu(acac)2 (acac=acetylacetonate) gave bis-copper(II) complex 2Cu as a highly planar molecule with a mean-plane deviation value of 0.020 A, where the two copper ions were revealed to be divalent by ESR, SQUID, and XPS methods. Oxidation of 2Cu with two equivalents of AgBF4 gave complex 3Cu, which was characterized as a bis-copper(II) complex of a dicationic triply-linked corrole dimer not as the corresponding bis-copper(III) complex. In accord with this assignment, the structural parameters around the copper ions were revealed to be quite similar for 2Cu and 3Cu. Importantly, the magnetic spin?spin interaction differs depending on the redox-state of the ligand, being weak ferromagnetic in 2Cu and antiferromagnetic in 3Cu.

While the job of a research scientist varies, most chemistry careers in research are based in laboratories, where research is conducted by teams following scientific methods and standards. 1111-67-7, Name is Cuprous thiocyanate, belongs to copper-catalyst compound, is a common compound. name: Cuprous thiocyanateIn an article, once mentioned the new application about 1111-67-7.

In the present work, different hybrid perovskites were synthesized by gradual concentration variation of larger cation of phenylammoniumiodide (PAI) and methylammoniumiodide (MAI) in PbI2 solution with the aim of improving the stability of MAPbI3 film and photovoltaic efficiency. To understand the properties of perovskite like structural, optical, thermal, morphological and chemical state, extensive characterizations such as XRD, UV?visible spectroscopy, FE-SEM, SEM, EDX and XPS were performed. The role of PAI was investigated further with the use of DFT studies. The DFT results confirmed that the PAI was passivated on the surface of MAPbI3 with most stable arrangement. The stable arrangement revealed the formation of ?-? interactions within the phenyl rings, which shielded the MAI crystals and thereby resulted in enhanced stability of the perovskites. Highly protected perovskite consequently yielded high- performance solar cell device with enhanced stability under 60% humidity, high temperature exposure and longer time stability even when directly exposed to normal room temperature. The new investigation of capping techniques with the use of bigger organic molecules, high performance solar cell with low device costs could emerge. This could lead to unprecedented rapid progress on power conversion efficiency (PCE). Thus, more stable organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites could be developed for future applications.

Organolead trihalide perovskite materials have attracted considerable interest because of their successful application in fabricating high-efficiency photovoltaic cells. Charge transport layers play a significant role in improving the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). In this work, we investigated the p-type doping effect of the poly(triarylamine) (PTAA) layer on the performance of PSCs by using three dopants. We observe that doping copper(I) thiocyanate (CuSCN) into PTAA led to a higher performance improvement for the PSCs than the use of copper(I) iodide (CuI) or lithium salt (Li-TFSI) as the dopant. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the PSCs significantly improved from 14.22% to 18.16% upon doping 2.0 wt % CuSCN with simultaneously enhanced open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current density, and fill factor. The long-term stability of the PSCs was also improved with significantly reduced PCE degradation (from 79% to 25%) after 200 h. Our results provide a simple method to improve the performance of planar PSCs by adding dopants into PTAA.

Chemistry graduates have much scope to use their knowledge in a range of research sectors, including roles within chemical engineering, chemical and related industries, healthcare and more. Application of 1111-67-7. Introducing a new discovery about 1111-67-7, Name is Cuprous thiocyanate, The appropriate choice of redox mediator can avoid electrode passivation and overpotential, which strongly inhibit the efficient activation of substrates in electrolysis.

Perovskite based solar cells have recently emerged as one of the possible solutions in the photovoltaic industry for availing cheap solution processable solar cells. Hybrid perovskites display special combination of low bulk-trap densities, ambipolar charge transport properties, good broadband absorption properties and long charge carrier diffusion lengths, which make them suitable for photovoltaic applications. The year 2015 witnessed an upsurge in the published research articles on perovskite solar cells (PSC) which is indicative of the potential of this material. Since the introduction of PSC the power conversion efficiency has reached above 22% in a relatively short period of time. However, the poor reproducibility in device fabrication and lack of uniformity of the PSCs performances is a major challenge in obtaining highly efficient large scale PSC devices. The aim of this paper is to present a brief review on the current status of perovskites based solar cell due to the use of different device architectures, fabrication techniques as well as on the use of various electron and hole interfacial layers (HTMs and ETMs). The review also discusses the basic mechanisms for device operation which provides better understanding on the properties of the various layers of device structures.

Efficient and general copper catalyzed oxidative cyclization of ortho-vinylaniline has been accomplished employing N-tosylhydrazone as coupling partner. Various substituted quinoline derivatives of biological importance were achieved in good to excellent yield. The important features are the high functional group tolerates, up-gradation to gram scale synthesis and possible one-pot synthesis of quinoline from corresponding carboxaldehyde. Synthetic potential of the obtained quinoline derivatives was demonstrated through C-H bond functionalization reaction. Furthermore, preliminary mechanistic investigation revealed the possible generation of non-stabilized diazo compound and imine derivative as potential intermediates as well as copper catalyzed electrocyclic reaction and oxidative aromatization.

Copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) has recently received considerable attention because of its high hole mobility and applications in solar cells [Science 358(2017)768]. In this work, by performing state-of-the-art theoretical calculations, for the first time we find that the thermal conductivities of both alpha- and beta-CuSCN are ultralow with the values of 1.2 and 2.4 W/mK at room temperature, respectively. Based on detailed analyses of the phonon dispersion, Grueneisen parameters, three phonon scattering rates and atomic displacement parameters, we further demonstrate that the underlying reasons for the ultralow thermal conductivities are due to the avoided crossing between the longitudinal acoustic (LA) phonons and the low-lying optical branches as well as the weak bonding and strong anharmonicity. The low lattice thermal conductivities lead to high ZT values of 1.7 and 2.1 at 800 K for alpha- and beta-CuSCN, respectively. In addition, both materials exhibit large negative thermal expansion (NTE) coefficients originated from the transverse vibrations in Cu?N?C?S chains. These features endow CuSCN with the potential for thermal barrier coating and thermal devices going beyond the reported photovoltaic applications.
